Fatima’s African Boutique is an African-inspired retail business aiming to offer authentic, high-quality African products. Founded by a 16 year old African girl who is trying to uphold her cultural heritage, my goal is to connect the local community with African culture through traditional and modern apparel, body oils, hygiene products, and custom-designed African merchandise. By sourcing directly from reputable manufacturers and suppliers, Fatima’s African Boutique will provide unique and affordable products for our customers.

There is a growing demand for authentic African products in Washington. Fatima’s African Boutique will fulfill this need by offering a wide range of products, making African culture more accessible to the community.

 We want everyone to have and feel a sense of belonging.

At age 15, I decided to create my own business  to protect and preserve my culture and traditions which is on the brink of being extinct. I hope to inspire  a lot of young black girls like me to be proud of their heritage and do things  that will enable them to be responsible adults.
